Facilities & Location

Facilities  The school operates in a 4500 sq. ft. space consisting of bench rooms, finish room, fully equipped machine room, and office. 

Housing We do not offer housing but will gladly send local newspaper listings of apartments and housemate advertisements well in advance of your arrival. The Daily Hampshire Gazette can be examined on line. It lists local housing and information about the community.

Location The New England School of Architectural Woodworking is located in a converted JP Stevens mill building, dating from the late 1800's. The building, known as One Cottage Street, is nationally known for the artists and craftspeople who have studios here. Professional woodworkers at One Cottage Street include one-of-a-kind furniture makers, high-end architectural woodworking craftspeople, marquetry and carving masters, and wooden display makers. The school is located in Easthampton in Western Massachusetts, home to many colleges and alive with cultural, craft and outdoor activities.
